A fun tour for grandparents and grandchildren (aged 8–14), exploring the castle’s history, photographs of the Salento of ‘grandparents’ times’ and memories.
The tour takes visitors through the castle’s rooms and the permanent exhibition ‘Giuseppe Palumbo Archive – Visions from the South’, using photographs, architectural details and visual clues as elements of the game.
The tour is structured as an intergenerational team challenge, in which grandparents and children must work together to solve puzzles, answer quizzes, complete observation tasks, undertake short storytelling exercises and tackle collaborative challenges.
This interactive tour has no winners or losers, but aims to encourage conversation, listening and cooperation, transforming cultural heritage into a shared space for play and connection. An experience that combines memory and discovery, past and present, turning the castle into a living space to explore together, step by step.
