Discover Corigliano d'Otranto this summer

Guided tours, experiences and itineraries around Castello De' Monti, the historic centre and the landscapes of Grecìa Salentina.

Whether you’re on holiday in Salento, visiting the surrounding area or live here all year round, there’s always a new way to discover Corigliano d’Otranto and Grecìa Salentina.

You can explore Castello De’ Monti on a journey through the Middle Ages, the Baroque period and the present day, stroll through the historic centre in the footsteps of Grika culture, cycle through the countryside amongst olive groves and ancient monuments, or let yourself be guided by the aromas of the Friday market and the stories of the local area.

For families, there’s the Mini Castello Volante, a fun-filled tour featuring stories, fancy dress and medieval challenges. Tours in English and French are also available, along with cycling routes and the new Sunday morning event ‘Buongiorno Corigliano’, a stroll through scenic views, curiosities and little-known spots, concluding with breakfast in the historic centre.

These experiences are designed both for those visiting the area for the first time and for locals who wish to see it through fresh eyes, rediscovering stories, landscapes, traditions and details often hidden in everyday life.

Booking is recommended for all activities by calling +39 351 913 7972, or via WhatsApp.

On request, we also organise private guided tours, bespoke experiences and group activities.

Before you leave, pop into the Castello Volante Bookshop, recognised as one of Italy’s best museum gift shops: a place where you can find books, crafts, design pieces and a selection of food and wine products that tell the story of the region through its history, flavours and key figures.
